Temisan is a uni student at Glasgow University and is a first year representative on the student representative council at uni.
Which young Scot inspires you?
My friends inspire me; they represent the everyday, regular Scots who are fun to be around.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
I most like the friendly culture. Everyone in Scotland is so warm and welcoming.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would like older generations to know that young people are constantly changing the world’s view of Scotland.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement is studying electronic and electrical engineering at uni. There are not a lot of female engineers so I am glad that I am helping improve female representation.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
I really want to learn a new language, such as French or Chinese. They seem like they would be fun to learn.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Always stay determined, ‘determination brings results’. If you want something you will get it as long as you fight for it.
