The young Scot who inspires me is my sister, who followed her dream and started her own local business with limited funds.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is the culture and heritage, knowing why things are the way they are and being able to see historic sites.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
Young people are still people with valued opinions. They were young once too.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
Gaining a degree whilst having learning difficulties and not having to move to a city.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
My biggest goal in life is to be happy no matter where I am or what I do.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Don’t rush life, everyone has different pathways with different timelines. You have to work for what you want.
