Which young Scot inspires you?
My friend Jade works extremely hard with work and volunteering while also being a carer for her dad.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
Scotland has great education resources which really help me, especially when I go to university. Scotland also has some great architecture especially in the Edinburgh area.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
We aren’t all violent teenage drinkers; most of us are really nice and work really hard.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement to date would be improving my confidence rapidly. I went from sitting in the back of class refusing to speak to now talking to over 200 people at the youth assembly.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
If possible I would like to become a forensic pathologist but my backup plan would be to become a maths teacher.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Don’t assume you can’t be successful in life just because of where you came from. Everyone can be what they want to be.
