Which young Scot inspires you?
My little sister is such an inspiring person, as well as all my friends, for numerous reasons. All the mentorship and support I have received from other designers has also really inspired me.

What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
I love the fresh air and I love the people of Scotland; there’s such an openness and friendliness that I feel everyone has here.

What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would want them to know that there is so much creativity and ambition amongst so many young people.

What is your biggest achievement to date?
I’m most proud of designing Scotland’s first Baby Box and all the opportunities it has opened for me. It has allowed me to progress and develop in my career in a way I never expected and I’ve meet so many interesting people through it.

What would you most like to achieve in the future?
I would love to learn Spanish or French and begin a social enterprise. I’ve met so many interesting young people from London that have started a business and are changing something in a small but significant way.

What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
I think I’d tell them not to worry about making mistakes and doing the wrong thing. It’s the best way to learn and the quickest way to get better.
