Which young Scot inspires you?
TI believe all young people are inspiring. However, Sir Tom Hunter is a favourite role model who gives back to society and supports young people to follow their dreams in business.

What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
I’m proud to be Scottish. Scotland has a fantastic education system with a wide choice of universities offering free education. I graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and they are continuing to support me throughout my entrepreneurial journey. Definitely the people. Scottish people are always so friendly. Another great thing about Scotland is education, I wouldn’t be able to get my dream job without the free education.

What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
Young people are very talented and have fresh ideas. There are now so many opportunities for young people, more than there used to be. Young people are key; as are the future generation.

What is your biggest achievement to date?
Helping other people who suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and starting up a business to achieve this. Being awarded a Royal Society of Edinburgh Unlocking Ambition Fellowship to help scale up and raise awareness of my business.

What would you most like to achieve in the future?
To become a market leader in the UK Free From Food Market to help people with IBS and food intolerences to lead a better quality of life.

What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
If you truly believe in something, have the confidence to carry it through. Whether it is a business idea or new skill or something you are passionate about, there is a great support network available in Scotland to help you.
