What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
Participation. In Scotland gives its young people so many opportunities to get involved in the community. This is important as it gives you people a platform to show off their skills.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
That were not all the same. The media shows only the bad side of young people what are committed by a small minority of young people. A large majority of young people want to change our communities and get involved in local organisations and projects.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
The biggest thing i have achieved to date was being elected as a Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament. It was made a big achievement as i didn’t believe I could do it but with the support of my friends and family I believed in my self.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
I would like the first minister so i could make Scotland a better place for everyone making it more equal and making sure everyone has access to the services they mean.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Don’t stop. Keep getting your voices heard. When people tell you to sit down and be quiet, stand up taller and be louder.
