I volunteer with many organisations from my local community cafe to the retirement housing and then the special needs playscheme. I’m just going into my 5th year at Dunbar Grammar School and also starting college studying health and social care.

Which young Scot inspires you?
The young Scot who inspires me is Maria Lyle. she is inspirational in many ways. The thing about her that inspires me most would need to be how she doesn’t let anyone or anything stop her she pushes through it all. shes just such an amazing person.

What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
Everyone in Scotland is very unique but yet again they are all lovely in their own ways. we are so unbelievably lucky to live in such a gorgeous place. One of my favorite things growing up Scottish would need to be when i was younger and use to celebrate Robbie Burns Day, we would all get in the spirit.

What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
One thing i’d like to tell people from older generations is we are not all the same, we are all very different in our own ways. Most of us are lovely people, but we just have such a bad reputation, People need to stop judging us until they know us. You just need to give us a chance.

What is your biggest achievement to date?
One of the things I’m most proud about would need to be becoming a saltire awards ambassador as its helped me become a more confident and sociable person and has also helped with my public speaking skills i have gained a lot of new skills from doing this.

What would you most like to achieve in the future?
My life goal is to become an ambulance technician its something I’ve set my heart on for a while now i’m currently studying all the subjects I need to progress onto the ambulance academy. I’m hopefully going to take a gap year out with projects abroad.

What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
The advice i’d give to young people would be, young people are stereotyped everyday. all you can do is be your best and stay positive. keep smiling, smiling is infectious you smile and so will everyone else all around you.
