Harley is getting ready to leave school at the end of 5th year to attend uni in September and this summer participated in the EY Foundation Smart Futures Programme.
Which young Scot inspires you?
The young Scot who inspires me is my sister as she is a fantastic role model to me and someone who inspires me to go far in life and continue in education to build my life in the future.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is being from Glasgow as it is a lively city with friendly people and amazing culture and traditions.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would like older generations to know that we can in fact live without our phones and we are not as anti-social as you think,
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement to date is getting offers from university as I am the first member of my family to attend.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
My biggest aspiration is to travel as much as I can and see and explore new places of the world and discover new cultures and lifestyles.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
One piece of advise I would give is don’t be scared to take risks because the outcome may benefit you.
