Lloyd volunteered at a care home and was trained to take care of dementia patients. He does a foundation apprenticeship that is focused on the IT sector and is now in 6th year.
Which young Scot inspires you?
My girlfriend inspires me as she volunteers to help others all year round. Without her, I would not have volunteered in a care home.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
I love the great support for learning in Scotland, it is important to me as I wish to go and study at university so I can get my dream job. Having great support to get to my dreams is lovely.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would like older people to know that the future is safe in our hands. This is important to me as I witness older people complain how incapable we are, so it would be great to pleasantly surprise them.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
To me my biggest achievement would be selling my first homemade guitar on my website.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
I would love to run and own my own successful business.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
I would tell them to enjoy their childhoods because I was always told to and never realised how important it actually is.
