Which young Scot inspires you?
The young Scot that inspires me is my mum as she always works hard and takes every day as it comes. Katie piper also inspires me because of the awful thing she went through and turned it into a positive.

What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is the tight knit community and beautiful scenery. It is important to me as I want older generations to know about the culture. I like the fact that everyone knows each other.

What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
If I could tell older generations one thing about young people and growing up i would want them to know that we can make a difference and it’s not easy growing up. This is important to me because I want more people to understand.

What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement to date is passing my exams. What made it such a big achievement was that I thought I was going to fail and I didn’t. It showed that I need to believe in myself more and increase my self – confidence.

What would you most like to achieve in the future?
My biggest aspiration is to have a career in computers (admin + IT). I also want to travel for a bit and go to Germany so I can practice the language. I would like to make new friends and keep in contact with them.

What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
If i could tell other young people one thing, it would be to not worry about what everyone is posting on social media. I would also say don’t compare yourself to images of people you see in mags as they will have edited to make them look good.
