Which young Scot inspires you?
The Young Scot That Inspires Me would be My Best Friend Matthew, he has supported me through the last few years from going through a difficult period of being bullied at high school and then when I came out as Bi-sexual.

What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is we have the most beautiful people in our country and we welcome anyone into our country and the most nicest places to visit. What makes me love Scotland is our culture and heritage.

What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would like older generations to know its still difficult to grow up in Scotland. People judge you on having a different sexuality from them. It’s important to me because it took me 3 and half years to come out and if a young person would come to you I would like you to offer them the support they are looking for.

What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement to date would be meeting the First Female First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon. Nicola is one of the most nicest people in Scotland you could ever meet she has changed our country for the better and that’s why I’m proud to be Scottish.

What would you most like to achieve in the future?
Something I’d love to achieve in the future would be becoming the next first minister of Scotland because I’m passionate about Scotland and I’d love to change a few things about our country for the better and not for the worse.

What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
One thing I would say to young people is fight for what you want in life. I generally believe if you want something in life you can have it and it just takes time to achieve your dreams in life.
