Cahal is in S6 studying Art, Drama, English and Photography, and he volunteers with the National Youth Arts Advisery Group and other Young Scot groups.
Which young Scot inspires you?
All of my fellow creatives constantly inspire me and it never ceases to amaze me what they do themselves or with others.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The hidden places (indoors and outdoors) where you can learn, escape and have fun!
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
We do mean well, most of us. We’re pretty much the same but with less wrinkles though!
What is your biggest achievement to date?
Taking on so many different arts opportunities and not one specific one, but the courage to apply, volunteer and participate.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
To constantly improve in my creative career and take my music and art further.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Go out and apply for things; there’s bound to be something that interests you. Doing this will create more opportunities for you!
