Which young Scot inspires you?
Probably Andrew Robertson at Liverpool; a young Scottish boy, playing football in a high league doing really well for himself. I think all young people should inspire to be a young footballer, boy or girl.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
Scotland’s a good place to grow up, there is a lot more happening now than there was when we were children. A lot more to do, a lot more activities, it’s a really good place to grow up.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I think they should know young people now are more generous, more caring, they will do a lot more for others. I think it could be really good if older people got to know younger people better and if younger people went along to help older people and show they are good people to be around.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
Winning the cup with Ramblers, their first ever cup was probably my biggest achievement as I took over as manager when the team was really struggling, and signed a few boys and managed to get their first ever trophy and that same season we won another trophy which was pretty good and my biggest achievement as a manager.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
Winning the league would be the best thing for me. I would love to win the league with the boys and would love to say I’ve done it. A lot of effort goes into it and would love to do it again.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
I think a lot of people should volunteer. I volunteer myself and I think what young people do to volunteer is fantastic and if more and more people do it with the elderly then it would be make Scotland better than it already is!
