Kayleigh is a school student who studies a variety of subjects from music and art to PE, English and maths.
Which young Scot inspires you?
Keith Brown as he is extremely successful. He leads the Scottish Nationalist Party to the best they can do! I also like Tazmina Ahmed Shikha and Nicola sturgeon who I look up to.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
Irn Bru. I love mince and tatties the accent the people the auld folks the ginger-ness the scenery of the hills and literally everything! It is important to me because it is my life, here my family is and where everything I love is.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
How much internet and wifi means to us. How much we get slagged if we go out at the age of 14-16.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
Running a race and coming 2nd out of the best runners from the other high schools in Clackmannanshire. It was such a big achievement as I never ever trained whereas everyone else did. Getting to live for another 14 3/4 years. It was a big achievement because my dad saved my life as I died watching the TV when I was only 16 months old!
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
To learn a new instrument to go to Paris, Greece and Ireland. I want to follow the career path of a baker I absolutely adore baking and it Is my number 1 hobby.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Go as far as you can as much as you can! Don’t ever ever ever let bullies put you down as if you do they will get control over you before you know it your life won’t be as good as you want it to be growing up.
