Shanna has recently completed her Modern Apprenticeship with Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, where she was responsible for creating digital media.
Which young Scot inspires you?
The young Scot that inspires me is John White as he has his own charity which is the Little Star Foundation which raises money for children.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
Growing up in Scotland the best thing for me are the places you can go and the beautiful scenery. This is important as many people don’t realise how many places there are to go.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would most like older generations to know that young people’s opinion is just as valuable as their own.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement was getting good grades in school, completing college and successfully completing the Digital Media Apprenticeship is my biggest achievement.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
In the future I would like to travel as this is something I have always wanted to do.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
My advice to young people would be take every opportunity given to you and get involved in as much as you can.
