Nicole (17) from West Kilbride, is currently undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship in Youth Work in North Ayrshire.
Which young Scot inspires you?
The person who inspires me most is my friend Erin, who does make up. She is self-taught and does this for no money.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is the opportunity to a good education and my chance to be an apprentice.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would most like people from older generations to know that we aren’t all anti-social. All young people are growing and the bad name they are handed with isn’t fair.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement to date was getting my apprenticeship.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
In the future I would most like to go to university and get a degree.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
My message is not to give into peer pressure, be yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
