Which young Scot inspires you?
A young Scot who has inspired me is Suri Wan (Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament). She inspires me because she works a lot and still spends her free time volunteering on behalf of young people.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is that young people are meaningfully listened to!
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would like older generations to know that young people care about the country too- we’re not all layabouts!
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement was working alongside John Finnie MSP to launch his Equal Protection Bill.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
In the future I would like to own my own business in web and app development. I just need to learn how to code!
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
I would like to tell other young people that they can achieve what they want if they put their mind to it! Barriers (social, economic etc) shouldn’t stop you!
