Lori (16), is a school student from Balfron near Stirling.
Which young Scot inspires you?
I am inspired by my friend, Anya. From the age of 15 has supported her single mum financially; something she shouldn’t have to do. She is still so bubbly and positive.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is free school. I also like shopping in Glasgow.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
I would like older generations to know the same advice you got when you were 16 probably will not apply to us now; it’s the 21st century and times have changed. School is different, relationships are different and our lives are different.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement was that I handled surviving a terrorist attack quite badly to begin with but over time I believe it has made me a better person and I’m very proud of it.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
In the future I would like to just be able to live in a nice house with a puppy and my boyfriend (future husband).
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
Don’t take anything (even family and friends) for granted and study for school.
