Which young Scot inspires you?
The young Scot who inspires me is one of my close friends who had a rough upbringing and ended up living with other family (not their parents). They inspire me as they do not fear the future and can always be strong in tough situations.
What is the best thing about growing up in Scotland?
The best thing about growing up in Scotland is that despite living in the capital of Scotland, which is well known and has many tourists, it still feels as if we are all one community.
What would you most like people from older generations to know about young people?
One thing I would like older generations to know about younger generations is that growing up in our society is not easy and it really is a struggle. I think they should know this as there are many standards we feel we have to meet to please other generations.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement would be growing my hair back and not fearing what other people think of me. This is my biggest achievement as it was tough to be a girl with no hair but I learnt to love it and then grew my confidence.
What would you most like to achieve in the future?
In the future, I want to have done some sort of volunteering and live a happy life. I would like to do this as firstly I would be helping other people get the most out of life whilst being happy and content with my own.
What message would you like to give to other young people in Scotland?
If I was able to give young people in Scotland one message it would be that you’ve got to enjoy every minute of life because it’s all for a reason.
